Maesteg Canoe Club is a not-for-profit community club run by volunteers! With over 70 members the club is an energetic mix of novices and experienced paddlers from all over the county.

Maesteg Canoe Club has a number of experienced coaches who are able to give expert tuition in kayak and canoe paddling.
Our coaches have a combined experience of over 70 years!
Our coaches are first aid trained and update their qualifications on a regular basis. They each specialise in different areas such as sea, surf, canoe, slalom, white water and making a mean cup-a-soup!
We are a member of Canoe Wales who are the governing body for our sport. Maesteg also has a successful history of slalom competition. Now an Olympic sport, slalom has become high profile in the last few years and we have had members compete at Premiership, Division 1 and Division 2 levels.
